Unsung hero: Tingting Kang

Tingting Kang, the College’s multi-language learner support specialist, runs the English for Academic Purpose Center and has helped hundreds of students find success at Lafayette. Her work aims to equip English learners with the reading, writing, and oral communication skills and knowledge of U.S. culture necessary to succeed in an English-speaking college setting. She wears many different hats, and whether it is teaching a section of English 100, guiding the Conversation PARDners program, working closely with the International Students Association, planning conferences with LVAIC partners, or hosting truly useful student workshops, her expertise and positivity have (and continue to) make a difference at Lafayette.
