Planting volunteers needed

Easton Main Street needs volunteers to help plant summer annuals in downtown planters. Easton Ambassadors and volunteers will start at 9 a.m. June 3 and work until noon or later for those who can stay. Bring gloves, gardening tools, and even a wagon if you have one.

There are more than 75 planters on the street corners and around the municipal parking garage. There also are over 30 planters in and around Center Square that get more attention and enhanced treatment. If you can help, contact Kim Kmetz. She will send a reminder with more detail as the day gets closer and will send a notification if there’s a postponement due to inclement weather. Planting will happen if there is only light rain.
