More than 50 varieties of apples from the northeast, including heirloom and organic ones, will be part of Easton Farmers’ Market’s Apple Jam 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday at Scott Park. An apple pie-eating contest will take place at 11:30 a.m.
Fresh, local apples will be sold by Scholl Orchards, Phillips Farms, and Salvaterra’s Gardens, as well as farm-fresh apple butter, applesauce, apple-infused pastries, and even dog treats. Sip freshly pressed cider. Fill your market bag with apple pies, dumplings, and tarts from Tombler’s Bakery and Pie + Tart, or indulge in hot apple fritters from K&S Grille.
Guest vendors include Hardball Cider, Be Love Succulents, Up Cycle Candles, and Neil’s Sharpening Service. Enjoy bluegrass music from Serene Green 10 a.m.-noon.
