Over the winter break timeframe while classes are not in session, the Southeast corner of Kunkel Hall will be demolished in order to create a future new all-glass entryway. This demolition will occur after finals end, beginning on Dec. 21, 2022, and running through Jan. 20, 2023.
Due to the logistics and safety needed around this demolition area, the roadway between Kunkel and March Field will be closed, which will impact access to the parking areas behind Watson Hall, Ramer Hall, Hugel, and Phi Kappa Psi. Please see sketch of this for further details. If you are typically assigned to these parking areas, the new temporary parking spots will be at Markle Deck (either the ground level or second level) and Leopard Deck.
There will also be increased construction noise around Kunkel Hall during this time frame due to this exterior demolition that will be taking place. Thank you in advance for your understanding.
