Black Heritage Month begins Feb. 1 and runs through Feb. 28. It is a chance to celebrate Black culture, remember important people and events in the history of the African diaspora, and honor the triumphs and struggles of African Americans throughout U.S. history.
Is your class, club, or group planning to host an event, bring in a speaker, or celebrate during Black Heritage Month? Lafayette’s Office of Intercultural Development (OID) will compile a list of events and happenings from groups and departments around campus to share on intercultural.lafayette.edu. That list will run in early February.
Submit your event now to the calendar, and send a link to intercultural@lafayette.edu.
Have an idea for an event but want to talk it through first? Reach out to Rob Young at youngr@lafayette.edu or Karina Fuentes at fuentesk@lafayette.edu.
