Help create the playlist that will begin and end your class Baccalaureate service! Members of the Class of 2024 are invited to submit songs that are meaningful to you and your classmates during the years you’ve spent as Lafayette students! This playlist will be shared before senior week. Please submit “clean” versions of songs — it *is* the chaplain curating this playlist!
If you want to submit more than one song, please feel free to do so. Just return to the form and submit another song.
As Commencement approaches May 19, join your classmates by making your senior class gift.
It takes about 20 seconds to make your gift and you may use Apple Pay, Venmo, or a credit/debit card, and join with your friends as you work toward earning your own engraved brick on the Quad thanks to consecutive years of giving.
The power of plurality is in effect when seniors each make a participatory-level gift as all gifts count toward the Senior Class Gift – presented at graduation. MORE
Beginning April 20, senior student charges will no longer be accepted at the College Store for payment.
The Technology Guide for Graduating Students provides helpful information on how to prepare for leaving Lafayette as a student, including how to retain access to important email, contacts, and data.
Commencement is just under eight weeks away. Because the ceremony is planned to be held outdoors on Lafayette’s Quad, no tickets are required; however, outdoor seating is on a first-come, first-served basis. If inclement weather forces the ceremony indoors, tickets will be needed for admission to Kirby Sports Center. Three (3) electronic tickets for family and friends are available for each graduate beginning today and must be secured by 2 p.m. Fri., May 17. Please review the instructions for ticketing and note that students need to log in with their Lafayette credentials to access the ticketing site. Graduates do not need a ticket.
A limited number of additional rain site tickets may become available and starting today, students can request additional tickets beyond the allotment of three per graduate. If approved, additional rain site tickets must be picked up at the ticket office in Kirby Sports Center (ID is required) between the hours of 10 a.m. and 3 p.m., Mon., May 13 through Thurs., May 16. Any tickets not picked up by May 16 will be forfeited.
Please direct any questions you may have to commencement@lafayette.edu.
If you missed the deadline to order graduation regalia, don’t worry. Sets will be available at the College Store starting April 29.
If you’re a senior interested in receiving a donated cap and gown or hood for this year’s commencement, please fill out an application by March 8. Link can also be found on the Student Government Instagram, @lafstugov Linktree.
Donated Regalia will be distributed on a “pay-what-you-can” model. (Which can certainly be zero dollars!) MORE
