Campus Race to Zero Waste is a national eight-week competition to reduce waste and increase recycling on campus. Each Monday during the competition, find a tip in Lafayette Today shared by the Office of Sustainability.
Recycling on campus is easy! All glass, aluminum, paper, cardboard, and plastics #1-7 can go in the blue bins across campus. Items must be clean and dry before recycling. If you’re not sure if an item is recyclable, trash it to decrease contamination of other recyclables. Learn the recycling rules, including specialty recycling on the Sustainability Website.
