Earlier this month, a group of 4th through 6th graders from the local YMCA came to campus for a fun and educational Sustainability Summer Camp. Campers had the opportunity to participate in sustainable farming and catch insects at LaFarm, discuss sustainable food systems and cook using Lafarm ingredients with Parkhurst Dining, create cards for nursing home residents and learn about helping the community with the Landis Center for Community Engagement, and study water pollution with Environmental Programming. Thank you to the LaFarm team, Parkhurst Dining, Landis Center, and Environmental Programming for making the Sustainability Camp possible!
