Benjamin is associate professor of African American studies at Princeton and the author of People’s Science: Bodies and Rights on the Stem Cell Frontier (Stanford University Press 2013) and Race After Technology (Polity 2019). She has studied the social dimensions of science, technology, and medicine for over 15 years and speaks widely on issues of innovation, equity, health, and justice in the U.S. and globally.
The talk is hosted by the Hanson Center for Inclusive STEM Education, the Resnik and Landis Lecture Series, and the Forum on Technology and the Liberal Arts. It is co-sponsored by a number of academic departments and programs.
