Rex joined Lafayette in 2000 as Assistant Director, Human Resources and was promoted to HR Director/Employment in 2006. Over 24 years, Rex has been a constant driving force and welcoming advocate. Her notable accomplishments include creating Welcome and New Hire Orientation programs, and serving as Deputy Title IX Coordinator, and member of Admin Council.
Rex’s departure will undoubtedly leave a void, as her experience and leadership have been instrumental in shaping the HR Dept. Her friendly demeanor and outgoing personality, enjoyed by so many, will be greatly missed. Rex and her husband Jim, whom she met at Lafayette, will retire to Savannah, Ga.
