Black History Month runs Feb. 1-28. It is a chance to celebrate Black culture, remember important people and events in the history of the African diaspora, and honor the triumphs and struggles of African Americans throughout U.S. history.

Is your class, club, or group planning to bring in a speaker, or plan an event during Black Heritage Month? Lafayette’s Office of Intercultural Development (OID) will compile a list of events and happenings from groups and departments around campus to share on intercultural.lafayette.edu in early February.

Submit your event now to the calendar, and email a link to Kimberly Weatherly at weatherk@lafayette.edu and Gabby Hochfeld at hochfelg@lafayette.edu.

Have an idea for an event but want to talk it through first? Reach out to intercultural@lafayette.edu.
