LaFarm is looking for academic partners for the spring semester. Faculty from all departments are encouraged to utilize the farm as a living laboratory and classroom to enrich their course material. LaFarm can offer:
  • Targeted tours for 100-level courses to introduce students to the farm while tying in subject matter from your course
  • Class visits with hands-on learning related to soil, plants, water, etc.
  • Semester-long projects based on designing and building new infrastructure on the farm
  • Data-based projects analyzing the farm’s extensive crop records
  • Guest lectures/discussions on farm-related subjects in the humanities
  • Field and greenhouse space for research
