Planning for summer? Want to engage in a nontraditional learning experience but not sure how to fund it? Apply for The Carolynn Van Dyke Prize.
Proposals should be for experiences that broaden your horizons rather than those directly related to coursework, in technical or scientific subjects, or for career preparation. Recipients will be selected by the quality of the proposal, its originality and value to the individual, and need for financial assistance.
This prize takes on special meaning in 2025 as the College mourns Prof. Van Dyke, who passed away Feb. 11.
The prize is made available to the recipient(s) for summer engagement in a nontraditional learning experience such as domestic or foreign travel, social service work, research, internship at a nonprofit, etc.
Deadline: Mon., March 24.
