Writing Associates (WAs) are trained student-workers who provide feedback to students on any kind of writing in progress. They meet with students in a course, either in groups or individually, four times throughout the semester.
Any instructor interested in having a WA work with their fall 2025 course is encouraged to
fill out a request form. All First-Year Seminar courses will automatically be assigned a WA. The College Writing Program cannot guarantee that it will be able to accommodate every request but will do its best. Please reach out to CWP Coordinator
