As graduation approaches, Lafayette College’s Office of Intercultural Development (OID) hosts cultural and identity celebrations for graduating seniors that honor various diasporas and identities. In order to participate in the celebrations, seniors need to fill out an interest form to indicate which one(s) they would like to attend. After seniors fill out the form, it confirms their participation and lets them know they will receive individual instructions for each celebration. The registration deadline is 5 p.m. April 14.
Sign up for the celebrations that align with your identity. You are welcome to participate in multiple ceremonies, recognizing the intersectionality of identities. OID will provide the stoles for each celebration. To receive your stole, you must participate in the ceremony. During the ceremony, you will be donned by someone of your choosing.
