As move-in approaches, the Office of Sustainability shares some tips with students for a Green Move In:
- During move-in, reduce waste by packing your items in reusable containers.
- If your items are packaged, recycle by taking cardboard, Styrofoam, and plastic bags to the recycling PODs located around campus.
- Get school supplies, clothes, and more at the Campus Thrift Store. Pop-ups will be available 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thurs., Aug. 21, and at the Involvement Fair. The Thrift Store is open 4-6 p.m. every Wednesday in Pardee, Room 25. Items are sold on a pay-what-you-can model, so you set the price!
