MOVING IN

• Getting settled: All students and families must arrive on campus at their scheduled time for move-in. Please review all email communications about move-in before arriving on campus.
• When do meal plans start? Meal plans start Aug. 21. Early dining hours will be offered Aug. 18-20 at select campus dining locations.
• Green Move In: The Office of Sustainability shares tips to pack sustainably, reduce waste, and recycle cardboard, Styrofoam, and plastic bags through the PODs on campus.
• Transportation:
  • Need transportation from Lehigh Valley International Airport? Learn more about the Uber program and how to request a voucher.
  • Need supplies for your dorm room? 
    • Students can ride the LANta bus for free, with stops at Giant and Weis Markets, Walmart, and more. ROUTE
    • The College LCAT shuttle also provides transportation to Lafayette’s Arts Campus.

CAMPUS RESOURCES

• Need to adjust your schedule? Banner Self-Service is open now through Aug. 29 to process fall semester schedule changes.
• Tech help:
  • Have a question? ITS will offer drop-in support during move-in in the Tech Lounge of Skillman Library.
  • Need network access for your game console or smart device? Learn how to register your device to the network.
  • During the summer ITS replaced the All-LAN wired network connections with ethernet outlets in on-campus residence halls. Students who previously purchased an All-LAN cable or adapter from the College Store can exchange it for an ethernet cable in the Tech Lounge (104 Skillman Library).
• Explore Skillman Library: The library will be open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sat., Aug. 23, and noon to 10 p.m. Sun., Aug. 24. View hours for the first week of classes. Regular hours begin Fri., Aug. 29.

• Forgot something? Get school supplies, clothes, and more at Pard to Pard, the campus thrift store (open 4-6 p.m. every Wednesday in Pardee, Room 25). Items are sold on a pay-what-you-can model, so you set the price! Plus, check out Pard to Pard’s pop-up events.
• Explore on-campus jobs: Attend an info session Tues., Aug. 26, or Wed., Aug. 27. Please note: New students, or returning students who have never worked for Lafayette before but are planning to this academic year, will need to provide original forms of identification when submitting payroll paperwork.
