Parking restrictions ahead of Rivalry 161

The Lafayette-Lehigh Rivalry game returns to Easton, Pa., Sat., Nov. 22! Here’s what you need to know about parking:

Thurs., Nov. 20

  • Student vehicles need to be moved from Markle Parking Deck by 8 p.m. Students assigned to Markle can move their vehicles to the Leopard Deck.
  • Students assigned to park at Bushkill Commons student lots will need to move their vehicles to one of the following areas: 
    • Nevin Terrace lot
    • Snyder Street lot
    • Buck Hall general lots (not under the building) on the Arts campus (see map below for available lots, indicated in yellow)

Fri., Nov. 21

  • Starting at 5 p.m. there will be no parking on Hamilton Street, Pierce Street, or Detrich Road.
  • Levels two and three will close at 5 p.m. Faculty and staff assigned to Markle Parking Deck may park there during the day but need to move cars by 5 p.m.

Sat., Nov. 22

  • By 6 a.m. the following road closures will be in place, and continue through the end of the game (approximately 5-5:30 p.m.):
    • Hamilton Street (from Pierce to High streets)
    • Detrich Road and Pierce Street (from Bushkill Drive to Hamilton Street)
