The Bicentennial Tour logo features the outline of a cyclist with the words The Bicentennial Tour with a banner below the text that reads With President Hurd.

President Nicole Hurd is launching a fitness challenge in celebration of Lafayette’s Bicentennial year—and you can be a part of the team! Whether you run, swim, practice yoga or Zumba, take your pups for daily walks, visit the gym, or cycle on your Peloton, you can challenge yourself through The Bicentennial Tour

Who’s eligible to participate? Anyone with Lafayette College pride! This includes alumni, students, parents, faculty, staff, and friends of the College.

The Bicentennial Tour begins Dec. 27—the date citizens of Easton held a meeting to begin the process of establishing a college in the town—and ends Sept. 6, 2026, on the Marquis de Lafayette’s birthday. As you log active minutes at four Lafayette milestones along the way, you’ll be rewarded with commemorative gear.

The Lafayette Leopard in a maroon tie dye shirt, white shorts, and sneakers dashes across the screen.

  • Continuing the tour to 1,926 minutes? We have a commemorative hat for you.
