Black History Month starts Feb. 1: Share your events, speakers, and programs

Black History Month runs Feb. 1-28 and celebrates Black culture, important people and events, and honors the triumphs and struggles of African Americans throughout U.S. history.

Is your class, club, or group bringing in a speaker or planning an event during Black History Month? Lafayette’s Office of Intercultural Development (OID) will compile events from groups and departments around campus to share on intercultural.lafayette.edu in early February.

Submit your event now to the calendar, and email a link to Kimberly Weatherly at weatherk@lafayette.edu and Gabby Hochfeld at hochfelg@lafayette.edu. Please share events by Jan. 16.
