The Geospatial Community of Practice is a group of College members who wish to learn more about the use of GIS and geospatial thinking on campus. This month’s meeting will begin with a short presentation from Tim Yale, (integrations architect, ITS) and Dan Brown (director of enrollment data analytics, admissions) speaking about their use of GIS in the admissions process at Lafayette. Questions and discussions will follow. Additionally, Doug Willen, senior academic technologist of Swarthmore College, will be discussing some of their experiences with using GIS on campus.
