Congratulations to Priyank Kalgaonkar, assistant professor of electrical and computer engineering, who received two awards at the IEEE CCWC 2026 conference, held in January at the University of Las Vegas: Best Paper (Reviewer’s Choice) and Best Presentation (Session Chair’s Choice). Kalgaonkar also earned Best Presentation at IEEE IEMTRONICS 2025, hosted last April at Imperial College London. His award-winning paper will be published in Springer later this month. These honors reflect the strength of Lafayette’s electrical and computer engineering research, and the opportunities students have to learn from faculty recognized as leaders in their field.
