I’m sure every senior has felt all the emotions this spring. From stress about finishing final projects and exams, to excitement about the next chapter, senior spring is bittersweet.

But save the tissues because we haven’t reached the Commencement stage yet, which means we still have time to make more fun memories! Try something new like browsing the shop you have always walked by in Easton or test your luck at winning a round of bingo! There is so much to do before leaving Lafayette, so here are my top 10 activities to add to your bucket list.

Visit Owowcow: Owowcow Creamery is one of my favorite spots to visit off campus. Located at the Silk Mill, the ice cream shop offers an array of homemade flavors from blueberry lemon to house vanilla and sweet honey cream. Owowcow also has limited edition flavors that change every month. This ice cream shop has become my go-to pick-me-up whether I’m having a bad week or want to catch up with friends. No matter what you get at Owowcow, you can never walk away without a smile on your face.

Midnight Breakfast: Take part in a classic Lafayette tradition by attending Midnight Breakfast. Say hi to professors from your college career while enjoying a delicious breakfast. It’s the perfect excuse to take a break from studying for finals and thank those who have shaped your education at Lafayette. (10 p.m. Sun., May 10 • Marquis)

College Hill Tavern bingo night: Bingo night at College Hill Tavern has become one of my favorite memories at Lafayette. At this family-friendly event, College Hill Tavern offers bingo every Monday evening 7-9 p.m., with a wide array of prizes available for winners. It’s the perfect casual night to grab a burger and play a few rounds of bingo with friends. And you never know, you just might win!

Take a bike ride around College Hill: Skillman Library offers an array of items for students to rent through the Life Library, including bikes! Something I wish I had done while at Lafayette is go cycling. College Hill is a beautiful area, so why not enjoy the spring landscape on a bike ride? Different styles of bikes, as well as bike helmets, are available to check out.

IronPigs: Get in the spirit of summer by catching an IronPigs game, Lehigh Valley’s Minor League Baseball team. On a warm and sunny day, there’s nothing better than grabbing a hot dog and watching a baseball game. This is one of the top things on my bucket list as it’s the perfect outing to enjoy the outdoors and take your mind off the chaos of graduation.

SpringFest: One of my favorite events during spring semester is SpringFest, hosted by LAF. Held on the last day of classes, it’s the perfect way to celebrate not only the end of the semester, but all of the academic accomplishments you have achieved during your college career. This year’s theme is Lafcot inspired by Disney’s Epcot.

Shopping in Easton: During the school year, it’s easy to get caught up in life on College Hill, juggling classes and campus involvement. But stepping out of the school bubble is not a far walk—Downtown Easton has an array of small businesses to visit. From Easton Candle Company to Token (my favorite spot to get stationery), a fun day of shopping with friends is the perfect way to wrap up your time in Easton.

Performance at Williams Center for the Arts: Thanks to my roommate, I’ve had the opportunity to watch many different shows this year at Williams Center for the Arts. From her chamber choir performances to Marquis Players’ Mean Girls, taking in a show has become one of my favorite activities on campus. Before graduating from Lafayette, I highly recommend all seniors attend a performance. Tickets are free for students, and it’s always a relaxing night filled with good vibes and music.

Go for a swim: Something I’ve always wanted to try at Lafayette is swimming at Weinstein Natotorium in Kirby Sports Center. Considering a handful of my friends are on the swimming and diving team, I have been curious to take a go at swimming some laps. Take advantage of the resources at Lafayette while you have access and go for a dip in the pool!

Picnic on the Quad: I’m sure we have all had our moments on the Quad, whether it be running to class or soaking up the early summer sun between classes. So why not make one final memory and have a picnic there! Grab your favorite Wawa sandwiches or go-to order from Lower Farinon, and enjoy your final moments at Lafayette on the Quad.
