Applications for the 2026-27 sabbatical leaves are due Fri., Aug. 21.

In accordance with Sections 6.1.15.2 and 6.1.15.1.3 of the Faculty Handbook, sabbatical leave applications must include the following.

• Sabbatical leave proposal
• Supporting statement from the department head/program chair including staffing coverage plans
• The previous sabbatical leave proposal (except for newly tenured faculty who have not had a previous sabbatical)
• The previous sabbatical leave report submitted at the conclusion of the sabbatical leave
• The three most recent professional activities forms
• A recent curriculum vitae

Please refer to Section 6.1.15.1 in the Faculty Handbook regarding information on enhanced sabbaticals.
