Lafayette will host a Community Town Hall Tues., Sept. 1 for neighbors to receive an update on goings on about campus and to share thoughts on the preliminary plan for the Easton-Palmer-Forks Regional Multimodal Trail.

Hear from College leaders with updates on planning efforts and community engagement activities. The SmithGroup will also be on hand to review preliminary plans for the Easton-Palmer-Forks Regional Multimodal Trail project. In January, community members shared their thoughts on the project which aims to close current trail gaps, provide a safer route from College Hill to Metzgar Campus, and enhance connectivity to the surrounding area, regional trails, and community destinations. In April the planning team presented ideas and concepts for feedback.

Now, drawing on feedback and ideas from the past two community meetings, along with the online survey distributed earlier this year, the planning team is excited to share the preliminary plan and gather input before the plan is finalized.
