Bailey Health Center

Bailey Health Center will be open 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mon., Oct. 12, and Tues., Oct. 13 (closed 12-1 p.m. for lunch).

Counseling Center

The Counseling Center will be open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and closed 12-1 p.m. Mon., Oct. 12, and Tues., Oct. 13.

Dining Services

Dining centers around campus will have modified hours for Fall Break. SCHEDULE

Gateway Career Center

Gateway & Go and Gateway peer advisor drop-in hours are not available during Fall Break (Mon., Oct. 12, and Tues., Oct. 13).

Housing

College housing remains open during Fall Break.

ITS

ITS will replace critical campus network hardware as part of scheduled network maintenance during Fall Break. Maintenance will occur 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sun., Oct. 11.

Libraries

During Fall Break, the Lafayette College Libraries will observe the following hours:

Skillman Library:
  • Oct. 19: 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Oct. 10: 12-5 p.m.
  • Oct. 11: 12-5 p.m.
  • Oct. 12: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Hours return to normal Oct. 13
Kirby Library:
  • Oct. 9: 9 a.m. to  5 p.m.
  • Oct. 10 & 11: CLOSED
  • Oct. 12: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Hours return to normal Oct. 13

Recreation Services

The recreation and fitness center will operate on a Fall Break schedule. The swimming pool will be closed Saturday through Tuesday.

Religious and Spiritual Life

Religious services are not held on campus over Fall Break, but the Office of Religious and Spiritual Life encourages those looking for a local congregation to visit to explore the off-campus worship opportunities section of the website.

Transportation

Please note: The medical transportation van will not run during Fall Break.

Find additional details on the LCAT shuttle to the Arts Campus, Uber vouchers to/from Lehigh Valley International Airport, LANTa bus routes, or other public transportation options.

Sustainability reminder

  • Remember when you leave your space for the long weekend to do these simple acts to save resources. Turn off the lights, AC, and close the windows. Empty your trash, recycling, and compost into the proper waste collection areas. Unplug electronics to save phantom energy. Bring your reusable water bottle, cutlery, and a bag to use on your trip for a low-waste adventure!
