Diane Shaw, director emeritus of special collections and College archives, will speak on “Lafayette and the Antislavery Movement” in a live YouTube event on Thursday, Sept. 10, at 2 p.m. The lecture is part of a celebration of the Marquis de Lafayette’s 263rd birthday by Fayetteville Technical Community College and will be available online later.
