With the spring semester upon us, we want to share some important updates and answers to questions we’ve received over the last week.

A bowl of cherriesOperational Level 2

With the College shifting to Operational Level 2, we will adjust accordingly and allow in-person seating at Marquis, Upper, and Lower starting on Tuesday.

Physical distancing & ideal ordering times

We have put forth great effort to ensure the safety of our staff and guests. We count on you to do your part and abide by the college’s physical distancing and mask wearing while picking up orders and moving through dining halls. We ask that you consider ordering before or after peak ordering times (generally noon-1 p.m. and 5-6:30 p.m.) to ensure that proper physical distancing can occur in high-traffic areas.

Mobile app bugs

As students returned to campus and order volumes on the mobile app grew, we experienced unanticipated technical difficulties as well as questions and confusion regarding grab-and-go allergen information. We are working quickly to restore app functionality and provide allergen-sensitive students with the information they need. As always, students with food allergies or other dietary restrictions can eat at Marquis or Upper, where our front-of-house and culinary staff work individually with students to ensure their needs are met. Students with any urgent allergy or dietary restriction-related questions should reach out to Campus Executive Chef John Soder.

Enabling push notifications

After downloading the Transact Mobile Ordering app, please ensure that push notifications have been enabled. This will allow you to receive real-time information about orders ready for pickup.
