Raphael Koenig, associate scholar in comparative literature at Harvard, will give a talk via Zoom on “Art, Resistance, and Psychiatry in Saint-Alban (1940-1944)” on March 4 at 4:15 p.m. EST. This medical humanities lecture will explore the interactions among artistic production, resistance activities, and progressive psychiatry at the Saint-Alban hospital in France during WWII and their impact on the work of two of its most notable medical interns, Felix Guattari and Frantz Fanon.
