I really enjoy volunteering with cat rescue groups. I’ve been doing it since I adopted my own cat about 11 years ago (with some gaps when I moved to new places before I found a place to volunteer) and since moving to Easton have been volunteering for FURR. I go each week to clean the cat cages and socialize the kitties. It’s really rewarding seeing the cats blossom over time and eventually get adopted. —Tamara Stawicki, assistant professor of neuroscience
