Sexual Assault Awareness Month

Every year, the National Sexual Violence Resource Center coordinates the national Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM) campaign in April to educate and engage the public in addressing this widespread issue.

Pards Against Sexual Assault is sponsoring these SAAM events:

• Sexual Liberation discussion with Ignacio Rivera – April 14 at 7 p.m.
• Yoga with Liz Jordan – April 18 at 10 a.m.
• Sexual Assault and Greek Life discussion with Nahin Ferdousi – April 20 at 7 p.m.
• Denim Day – April 28. Wear denim with a purpose, support survivors, and educate yourself about sexual assault.
• How to Support Survivors discussion with Jimanekia Eborn – April 29 at 7 p.m.
• SAAM Finale: rally and vigil – Evening of April 30
• Fundraiser and book club – throughout the month
