In the wake of last weekend’s reports of homophobic and other slurs being directed at one or more members of the campus community by one or more other members of the campus community, we are writing to invite you to an in-person gathering this Friday, May 28, beginning at 3 p.m. in Colton Chapel, where we can share ideas to strengthen support for all members of our community.

Please bring words, art, music, poetry, and personal stories. In this difficult moment, we seek new ways to show support, foster solidarity, and help build an inclusive campus where we all belong and thrive.  The intent of this gathering is not to discuss the specifics of the weekend incidents; those reports are under investigation by the College. Our goal is to hear and see and support each other, and to learn.

We hope to see you there.
