Work begins for new Portlock Center

Workers are identifying items to be salvaged prior to next week’s demolition of homes near the corner of McCartney and Hart streets, the first step toward moving the house at 517 Clinton Terrace to 41 McCartney St., where it will be renovated to become the new Portlock Black Cultural Center. Read more.
