UGI started replacing gas mains on Thursday, excavating at the intersection of Clinton Terrace and McCartney Street, and installing new pipes while moving north to March Street. Work will turn east to Cattell Street and then north on Cattell to the tie-in point. The pavement in front of the new McCartney Street residence halls will be replaced from curb to curb, and other areas will be patched.
