The electricity to all main campus buildings will be turned off Saturday (rain date Sunday). Local building generators will remain on in certain buildings to maintain vivariums and other research-related projects. The new generator will be started and power restored to specific buildings. After the status of these buildings is verified, the process will be reversed to restore utility power to the main campus. The entire process will take eight to 10 hours.
