My favorite memory: percussion ensemble

My favorite Lafayette memory is my first Percussion Ensemble concert in the spring of my freshman year (2019). I took Prof. Stockton’s Intro to World Music Traditions class the semester before, and he encouraged me to join percussion the next semester. Joining the ensemble turned out to be one of the best decisions I’ve ever made! The energy and excitement at that first concert after all our hard work during the semester was absolutely incredible, and I cannot wait for our next in-person percussion concert! —Anna Zittle ’22
