The Biology Department invites you to share your recollections and memories to honor and celebrate the life and career of our colleague, mentor, and friend Wayne Leibel on Sept. 17 at 7 p.m. Join us on campus as we Zoom live from Rockwell Integrated Science Center rooms 260 and 262. After an informal program of shared remembrances, light refreshments will be served on Goodwin Courtyard. In case of inclement weather, we will move to the second-floor lobby.
To attend in person, RSVP to Elaine Reynolds. You also can attend via Zoom. If you would care to share a brief (under three minutes) sentiment or tribute, RSVP to Nancy Waters. If you cannot attend but would like to offer a written reflection to be included, email it to John Drummond. We ask for all replies above by Monday; we will include as many as possible.
You’re also invited to donate to the endowment for the Professor Wayne Leibel Memorial Prize Fund, which will support students in perpetuity.
We hope you can participate, and we look forward to seeing you as we commemorate Wayne’s array of diverse contributions.
