Campus power
Met-Ed has restored power to the campus substation. Facilities staff have begun the process of switching campus power off the campus generator and back onto the Met-Ed power supply. The process will involve power interruptions from 1-3:30 p.m. today, after which the campus will be back on the Met-Ed power supply.

Dining facilities
Dining operational changes for today:

  • The Clay Ketcham Room is closed. 
  • Trolley Stop will remain fully operational. 
  • Marquis and Upper Farinon will operate normally until 1 p.m.
    • 1-4 p.m. – limited options available 
    • 4 p.m. – dining will reopen normally
  • Skillman Coffee Shop will remain closed today and reopen tomorrow. 
  • ECO Café will close at 1 p.m. today and reopen tomorrow with limited availability.
  • Simon’s Deli will remain closed through Sept. 8. 
  • Gilbert’s Café will close at 12:30 p.m. today and reopen 4-7 p.m. Food orders will stop at 12:30 p.m. due to the power outage scheduled for 1 p.m.
  • Lower Farinon will close at 12:30 p.m. Kiosk ordering will stop at 12:30 p.m. in preparation for the power outage. Grab-and-go meals will be available. Lower will reopen at 4 p.m.
  • Mobile ordering will be turned off 11 a.m.-4 p.m. today due to the power outage.
