Congratulations go out to the Landis Center for Community Engagement, Lafayette Votes! team, and the broader Lafayette community for greater engagement and participation in the 2020 election. According to the recently released National Study of Learning, Voting, and Engagement, the registration rate, voting rate of registered students, and overall voting rate increased at Lafayette. The voting rate for the 2020 election rose 20.7% from the 2016 election. Total voting hit 82.9%, well above the 66% voting rate average at campuses across the country. Seems democratic engagement at Lafayette is alive and well!
