Saint Andrew’s Society of the State of New York
For seniors who are U.S. citizens of some Scottish descent to receive a year of funding for graduate study at any Scottish university. Campus application deadline: Nov. 15. Read the campus application instructions.
Payne International Development Fellowship
For seniors/recent graduates who are U.S. citizens pursuing a two-year master’s program in the U.S. in an area of relevance to USAID Foreign Service. Includes two summer internships (on Capitol Hill and at a USAID mission abroad) plus employment in the USAID Foreign Service. Application deadline: Nov. 15.
Critical Language Scholarship
Summer intensive, in-country, language study in one of 15 “critical languages”: Arabic, Azerbaijani, Bangla, Chinese, Hindi, Indonesian, Japanese, Korean, Persian, Portuguese, Punjabi, Russian, Swahili, Turkish, Urdu. Application deadline: Nov. 16
