Some faculty and staff who have made pledges to United Way (thank you!) were surprised that their contribution was not deducted from their January paychecks. Because this year’s campaign launched a little later than previous years, monthly contributions will be deducted beginning in February.
Pledges made after Feb. 10 will be deducted beginning in March. This was noted in the launch letter, but some readers may have missed it. The campaign does not close until Feb. 28. The latest report shows 37 participants who have pledged $34,214. Again, thank you!
