Construction on the new Markle Hall parking deck and entrance is well underway. As excavation sequences progress, Facilities Operations is challenged to remove various obstacles with construction. One of these obstacles involves the steam heating source for many buildings on the eastern section of the Lafayette campus. Therefore, on Fri., Feb. 11, at approximately 4 p.m., the steam will be shut off completely for Markle Hall, Pfenning Alumni Center, and Oechsle Hall. The plan is to restore heat on Sat., Feb. 12 on or before 3 p.m.

Additionally, several buildings on the eastern section of campus will have a reduced heating capacity. These buildings are Kirby House, Grossman House, Bailey Health Center, Soles Hall, Gates Hall, McKeen Hall, Farinon Center, Hogg Hall, and Williams Center for the Arts. Full heating capacity will be restored on Sat., Feb. 12 on or before 3 p.m.
