Before the pandemic, Lafayette used to sponsor an Earth Day electronics recycling event. This was very convenient for me personally, and it always seemed to me that many other people in the community were glad to participate too. It would be great if this annual event were to start up again!

If Earth Day isn’t convenient it might be a good event for campus sustainability month. Also, it might be good later in the spring, as people get ready to leave campus for the summer, or as part of the green clean up after people have left for the summer.

Thanks so much for this feedback, Lorenzo! The Office of Sustainability looking into the feasibility to host an electronics recycling program in the spring. Stay tuned!
