UPDATE: The dates for the auction were changed to Dec. 14-20. Find details and the auction link.

An online auction will be held during the week of Dec. 5 through the week of Dec. 12 for items salvaged from the homes along McCartney Street. The items were removed from the homes before the houses were demolished to make room for Phase II of the McCartney Street mixed-use residential housing project, which will house approximately 165 students when it opens in the fall of 2024. Among the salvaged items include numerous wood doors, a chandelier, fireplace mantles, and stained glass windows.

The auction will be hosted by Saucon Valley Auction, and the specific online link will be distributed when it goes live. Bids will be accepted for one week, and proceeds from the auction will benefit the Easton Area Community Center. After the auction closes, items will be available for pickup from Saucon Valley Auction.
