Jim Krivoski named Interim VP for Student Life

President Nicole Hurd has announced that Jim Krivoski, a senior administrator in the College’s Student Life Division for nearly 30 years, has agreed to serve as Interim Vice President for Student Life for the spring 2023 semester. Krivoski had retired in 2018, having begun his Lafayette career in 1985 in student life and eventually rising to lead the Campus Life Division.

Krivoski will begin Dec. 12, so that he has some time to work with Annette Diorio, who announced earlier this semester that she will leave Lafayette Dec. 22 to become the next Vice President for Student Affairs and Dean of Students at Union College. Krivoski will serve through the next semester, while the College conducts a national search for its next vice president.

“One of the reasons my family and I became excited to join Lafayette was our time with Jim Krivoski and his passion for this community,” says Hurd. “He and his wife, Donna, have served the College with excellence for decades. Their commitment to our students, faculty, and staff is beyond measure, and I look forward to having Jim once again lead our efforts as we focus on student success.”

During his more than 30 years at Lafayette, Krivoski was steadily promoted through a series of positions, including Associate Dean of Students and Director of Student Life, Dean of Students, Vice President for Student Affairs and Dean of Students, Executive Assistant to the President and Administrative Secretary to the Board of Trustees, and Vice President and Liaison to the Board of Trustees.

“I’m certainly excited about and looking forward to reconnecting with faculty, staff, and students, particularly members of the Student Life staff,” says Krivoski. “Lafayette is an incredible institution, and I’m happy to step up and help in any way that I can.”
