As the end of the fall ’22 semester nears, here are some schedule changes and updates.

Dining Services

A modified schedule for dining starts Dec. 9. All operations will close Dec. 23-Jan. 1. View schedules. Remember to return any eco-clamshells before leaving for winter break. Housing

The final exam period runs Dec. 13 – 20. Students in College housing and the McCartney Residences are expected to depart campus 24 hours after their last exam or by 9 p.m. Tues., Dec. 20 (whichever comes first). Dec. 20 is the last day of the fall semester and the meal plan ends at dinner. Please plan accordingly.

  • Fall Extended Stay: Students who need to remain in college housing the nights of Tues., Dec. 20 and Wed., Dec. 21 must register through MyHousing for permission to stay. There is no fee for these nights. Form opens Dec 12.
  • Winter housing: Students who need housing beyond the Fall Extended Stay date will need to register for Winter Housing through MyHousing. Specific information about winter housing is available on the website. Winter housing fees are billed on a weekly basis.

Library

Skillman Library will be 24 hours from Dec. 4-18.
The library will close at 10 p.m. Dec. 19. The Gendebien Room will be set up for student study Dec. 4-19. Complete hours can be found on the website. Check out the schedule for Kirby Library hours.

The Library will be closed from Dec. 23- Jan. 2, and will reopen at 8:45 a.m. January 3. The library hours over Interim (Jan. 4 – 21) will be:

  • 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday
  • 5-10 p.m. Sunday
  • 8:45 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday-Thursday
  • 8:45 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday.

The library will be closed Jan. 22 and reopen with normal hours Jan. 23.

Parking

During Winter Break, if you are leaving campus and will be storing a car on campus you will need to park at 901 Bushkill Commons. Please notify Barry Wade via email if you plan to use this option.

If you will be staying on campus, and have a registered car you can use the Markle Deck or Leopard Deck for parking.
The following lots may not be used for parking at any time:

  • Kunkle
  • Watson A, B & C
  • Scott Hall (front 5 spaces)
  • Kirby West
  • Hugle (front 5 spaces)
  • March Field

All other parking policies and procedures will still be enforced during the Winter Break. Do not bring a car back to campus after Winter Break unless your car is registered with Public Safety and approved.
