Upsilon Pi Epsilon is an honorary society whose membership consists of outstanding undergraduate and graduate students in computing and information disciplines. Each year the executive council of UPE evaluates a number of outstanding scholarship applicants at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. All scholarship applicants are required to complete a comprehensive application that considers academics, professional goals and extracurricular involvement in their chapter. This year, Cuong Vu ’23 receives the UPE Executive Council Award with a cash price of $2,500 – the third highest tier of awards given out by the council.
