Our Landis Center for Community Engagement Team America Reads needs your gently used children’s books (pre-K through sixth grade level) for our big event, Literacy Day, to be held in early April. Literacy Day is a collaboration between the Landis Center for Community Engagement, Lafayette Student Groups, Easton Area School District, and Family Connections in which Easton Area School District Children, who could benefit from extra resources, are invited are invited to a fun-filled day celebrating literacy. We collect books to offer a “Book Fair” for the children to select books to take home as part of the event.
If you have books to donate, we would be very grateful if you placed them in the boxes outside The Landis Center located in Farinon Student Center. We will be collecting them through March. Thank you!
