Melanie Lino will deliver the opening Earth Month keynote address 4:15 p.m. Mon., April 3 in Kirby 104. Lino is a local baker and entrepreneur who weaves sustainability and community engagement into her operations.
Her business, “Made by Lino,” co-founded a local cafe, Lit Roastery & Bakeshop, with community and local processes at its core. She is an activist in the Lehigh Valley, and serves as the executive director of the nonprofit, Afros in Nature.
