Every year, the National Sexual Violence Resource Center coordinates the national Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM) campaign in April to educate and engage the public in addressing this widespread issue. Campus Life, in collaboration with Peer Anti-Violence Educators (PAVE) Pards Against Sexual Assault (PASA), and Student Advocacy and Prevention, will host nine events throughout the month for the campus community to attend. 

Week 1: Community Mobilizing

Week 2: Supporting Survivors/Survivor Stories 

  • April 7-13: PAVE’s “What Were They Wearing”  • Passive week long display in 206 Gendebien Room, Skillman Library
  • April 12: Importance of SAAM – PASA’s Community Discussion • Hugel 100, 12:15-1 p.m.
  • April 13: PAVE’s Love Letters to Survivors Tabling in Farinon • Farinon Atrium, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Week 3: Healthy Sexuality & Healthy Relationships

Week 4: Community Unity / Action
